In my vast library of trading knowledge, there is one thing that is consistent amongst the successful traders. That is, it is a way of life. It is a career. You cannot simply do this on the side. There is no way to tell when the next major trend will ensue. You must be in the market, trading to catch the major moves.
This past month, I missed some of the market’s greatest bull moves in history. No excuses, but I had a little too much on my plate. I screwed up. Big time. I stopped watching the market for just a couple weeks. When the market took off, I got signals to buy. I was so out of touch from my charts, that I lost the confidence to pull the trigger when the time came. I lost the touch. To have the touch, you gotta be in touch, with the market. Know the charts, the support levels, the fundamentals.
Lesson learned. Now I got it of my system. I’m not about to make another common mistake…..dwelling on the past.
We’re in a brave new bull market. There’s plenty of opportunity in the now.
